Saint-Tropez, the French small coastal town that fires the imagination far beyond our borders, has selected Circet for its urban video surveillance system.

Located on the Var coast between Hyères and Saint-Raphaël, the charming village of Saint-Tropez is well-known for its harbor, its huge yachts, its many up-market stores and crowds of tourists. Every summer, its population increases fourfold. To ensure protection and security, the local council decided to equip the town with a video surveillance system in 2011.

During the final call for tenders in 2014, the council awarded Circet a contract to deploy and maintain its video surveillance solution. Gilles Passis, the local council's IT Manager, explains their choice to us: “Circet's offer was technically fully compliant with our requirements and financially attractive, above all for maintenance.

For several years now, our teams have been installing new equipment and maintaining Saint-Tropez's entire video surveillance system 24/7. Every year, fifteen or so new cameras are installed, “services delivered on time with a remarkable quality of work” says Gilles Passis. The Saint-Tropez system currently comprises 70 cameras of five different types.
