Deployment and construction of a satellite communication test site in Villenave d’Ornon.
Announced in 2015, Starlink is SpaceX’s project to build a constellation of satellites designed to deliver global access to the Internet. Starlink will use radio frequencies to operate across France. Once the ground stations needed for the network are in place, SpaceX will be able to offer subscriptions in France.
An operation was launched to roll out this service throughout Europe, and Circet participated in the development of this project at the Villenave d’Ornon site – the first of its kind in the European Union.
Circet’s Bordeaux branch supervised the work, laid out the roof and installed antennae on it, connected everything, and then activated the site. Satellites were installed on the roof of a building, and Circet acted as the developer.
