Circet deploys a fibre-optic link by locomotive between Corte and Venaco.
Circet has deployed an 11-kilometre backbone link between Corte and Venaco, in the heart of the Corsica mountains. The link consists of 144 optical fibres serving the radio site of Venaco. The only possibility was to route it through the pipelines of the Corsican local authority, running alongside the railway track but inaccessible by road. An excellent cable laying operation carried out by flotation by Circet's Bastia teams with the aid of a locomotive.
