Circet Réunion to participate in the Réunion region’s broadband plan
On July 8, the President of the Réunion Region Didier Robert and Deputy CEO of Orange & CEO of Orange France Fabienne Dulac, along with representatives of the local authorities and partner companies, officially launched the deployment of fiber technology throughout the island as part of the Region's broadband plan.
Our team in Réunion is proud to partner with Orange in this important broadband deployment project.
Together with our partners, we will roll out fiber in all areas of the island that private operators do not intend to equip, in order to deliver 100% broadband coverage by 2022. Réunion has been selected as the pilot region for this broadband plan and will work in close collaboration with several municipalities. As part of this effort, Réunion has set clear targets and initiated an action plan to execute on the “La Réunion 100% connected” project which is set to bring connectivity to 400,000 homes and businesses.
